Two Tigray Projects Inspired by Personal Pain and Loss
One of the amazing things about my brothers and sisters from Tigray is their ability to turn pain and challenges into service for others.
Earlier this year, a good friend of mine lost his beloved wife Amit, the mother of his four children. Within months, he launched The Amit Promise Foundation to help build a health care center in her honor in Tigray. Last month, it was my great pleasure and privilege to keynote the inaugural event celebrating Amit and the foundation.
Here is a picture of my two high schoolers playing Amazing Grace at the event. You can learn more about this exciting project to bring health care to 500,000 people here.
Another good friend lost his son Alula in 2019, and has since worked tirelessly to bring education to rural parts of Tigray. You can learn more about The Alula Dream Foundation here.
Please take time to read about both these projects and consider supporting them.
Thanks for reading, and until next time, make the most of every day.

I just wanted to take a moment to sincerely thank you for the incredible work you are doing to support others. Your commitment to giving back, standing up for important causes, and making a positive difference in the world is truly inspiring.
It is one thing to care about the issues we face, but it’s something else entirely to take meaningful action—and you’ve done and are doing just that. Whether through your time, resources, or influence, you are helping to create real change, and I greatly admire your passion and dedication.
Please know that your efforts don’t go unnoticed. You’re making more of an impact than you may realize, and I’m proud to call a friend.
